The refund policy at Furniture Local offers a clear and customer-friendly approach, allowing you to return purchases within 30 days if you are not satisfied. Here’s a breakdown of their key points:
- 30-Day Return Period: You can return any sofa within 30 days of delivery if you are unhappy with your purchase. The return period starts on the delivery date.
- Condition of Returned Items: To be eligible for a return, items must be in a fully resalable condition. This means they must be in their original, unmarked, and undamaged packaging.
- Return Process: To initiate a return, you need to contact their customer service team via email. They will guide you on how to return the product or arrange for a collection.
- Refunds: Once the item is returned and inspected, you will receive a full refund, minus any collection costs if their service is used.
- Cost of Returns:
- Collection Fee: If you opt for their collection service to handle the return, there is a £299 charge. This fee is deducted from your refund.
- Non-returnable Products: The policy specifies that items that are damaged, worn, or otherwise in non-resalable condition cannot be returned. Additionally, items delivered over 100 days ago, or items from a previous return that was part of the same policy for the same customer, are also not eligible for returns.

PRODUCTION
All of our sofas are handmade to order and manufactured to UK Safety and Quality Regulations in our own factory in the UK.
Most of our suites are available with sofa bed action, suitable for occasional use with a 2" foam mattress. The bed action is a three fold bed. Available as a 4ft bed and 3ft bed.
Interiors
Base - All of our seat bases come with zig zag springs (no sag springs) followed by a silent wire holding all the springs together giving the same tension on each spring for extra comfort and support. This is followed by a nylon fabric support on top of springs.
Seats - For all of our seat cushions we use a 7" polyurethane foam which is a high quality 40 density foam which will give a longer lasting shape. This is then followed by a 400 gram Dacron wrap wrapped around the seat foam to give the extra comfort and style needed.
Backs - All of our back cushions are filled with
conjugated hollow fibre. The fibre is self-carded in our own factory then blown to fill cushions to give maximum quality. We use 12-15 denier fibre for extra support.
